COMSATS GPA Formula

COMSATS GPA is calculated using a 4.0 scale approved by HEC. You multiply each subject’s grade point by credit hours, add them all, and divide by total credit hours.

Official Formula:

GPA = Σ (Grade Point × Credit Hours) ÷ Σ Credit Hours
Example:
Math (3 Cr) × A- (3.34) = 10.02
Physics (3 Cr) × B+ (3.01) = 9.03
Prog (4 Cr) × B (2.67) = 10.68
---------------------------
Total Points = 29.73 | Total Credits = 10
GPA = 29.73 ÷ 10 = 2.97 (approx)
